Other Universal Laws

Wednesday, May 14th @ 11:57 AMpost viewed 88 times

By Eva Gregory, CPCC

In addition to the Law of Attraction, there are other lesser know, yet powerful laws to be considered when traveling upon your path. Each of them works in conjunction with the Law of Attraction.

Each of these laws are based upon the understanding that everything in the universe is energy, including us, and that energy moves in a circular fashion. Our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions are all forms of energy. What we think, feel, say, and do in each moment comes back to us to create our realities. Energy moves in a circle, so what goes out returns to us. It is through the combined thoughts, feelings, words and actions of everyone on the planet that creates our collective consciousness. It creates the world we see before us.

These laws are:

1. The Law of Divine Oneness:

The Law of Divine Oneness helps us to understand that we live in a world where everything is connected to everything else. Everything we do, say, think and believe affects others and the universe around us.

2. The Law of Vibration:

This Universal Law states that everything in the Universe moves, vibrates, and travels in circular patterns. The same principles of vibration in the physical world apply to our thoughts, feelings, desires, and wills in the etheric world. Each sound, thing, and even thought has its own vibrational frequency, unique unto itself.

3. The Law of Action:

The Law of Action must be applied in order for us to manifest things on earth. Therefore, we must engage in actions that support our thoughts, dreams, emotions and words.

4. The Law of Correspondence:

This Universal Law states that the principles or laws of physics that explain the physical world – energy, Light, vibration, and motion – have their corresponding principles in the etheric or universe. “As above, so below.”

5. The Law of Cause and Effect:

This Universal Law states that nothing happens by chance or outside the Universal Laws. Every action has a reaction or consequence and we “reap what we have sown.”

6. The Law of Compensation:

This Universal Law is the Law of Cause and Effect applied to blessings and abundance that are provided for us. The visible effects of our deeds are given to us in gifts, money, inheritances, friendships, and blessings.

7. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy:

This Universal Law states that all persons have within them the power to change the conditions in their lives. Higher vibrations consume and transform lower ones; thus, each of us can change the energies in our lives by understanding the Universal Laws and applying the principles in such a way as to effect change.

8. The Law of Polarity:

This Universal Law states that everything is on a continuum and has an opposite. We can suppress and transform undesirable thoughts by concentrating on the opposite pole. It is the law of mental vibrations.

9. The Law of Rhythm:

This Universal Law states that everything vibrates and moves to certain rhythms. These rhythms establish seasons, cycles, stages of development, and patterns. Each cycle reflects the regularity of God’s universe. Masters know how to rise above negative parts of a cycle by never getting too excited or allowing negative things to penetrate their consciousness.

10. The Law of Gender:

This Universal Law states that everything has its masculine (yang) and feminine (yin) principles, and that these are the basis for all creation. The spiritual person must balance the masculine and feminine energies within herself or himself to become a Master and a true co-creator with God.

Spend some time and consider how each of these laws is working in your daily life. Let me know your thoughts!

Extreme Self Care - Taking Time For Your Life

Wednesday, May 14th @ 11:56 AMpost viewed 51 times

By Eva Gregory, CPCC

If you’re like me, you’re almost always on the go. Whether you’re juggling projects at work, balancing your personal and professional lives, or being there for the people you love, your available time may constantly be stretched to the limits. When was the last time you really took some time just for yourself? I’m not talking about family time, time with friends or sleeping time. I’m talking about time that you set aside to do something for you that you really enjoy.

Can you even remember the last time you did that?

I’m not suggesting you devote all of your time to enjoying yourself and forget about your other responsibilities. However, if you aren’t taking at least twenty to thirty minutes for yourself at least three to four times a week, then your intuition is likely to become clouded by stress and by exhaustion. You’ll find it more difficult to listen to your inner voice thus making it harder for you to follow its guidance.

What if you made a promise to yourself today that for the next week you’ll set aside at least one half hour every other day of the week just for yourself? You can spend that time doing almost anything that helps you relax and feel happy. You could take a bubble bath, listen to music on your MP3 player, read a book, meditate, go for a walk, stare up at the clouds, look through photo albums, watch your favorite television show . . . the list of options is totally up to you.

The only rule is that the activity be something you choose and that you do alone. No matter how much you love your family and friends, you need to take some time to be away from them so you can reconnect with yourself.

As you do this, notice how much more relaxed you feel and how much easier it is for you to hear that inner voice guiding you down your path to success. Once you realize the power of taking time for yourself, it will be easier for you to say YES to making it a regular part of your day-to-day routine!

Abundance and Prosperity

Wednesday, May 14th @ 11:55 AMpost viewed 53 times

By Eva Gregory, CPCC

Being abundant and prosperous is so much more than just about having money or wealth.  It’s about being in a place where your energy allows you to receive money and wealth, if that’s your true focus.  Money, like love, friendship and success can work for and against a situation.  It’s not about whether having money is “evil” or wanting money is “dangerous”, any more than fire is only evil or dangerous, despite the fact that we can cook things with fire, or create heat with fire.  There are two sides to every coin and perception and belief are the keys to how the reality unfolds.

Samantha and Alex are newlyweds.  They are madly in love, but complete opposites.  Samantha is an early riser and Alex is a serious night owl.  Samantha drinks coffee, Alex prefers tea.  Samantha is an avid reader and Alex gets news from the television or the internet.  Their biggest difference concerns money.  Samantha hoards money to the point of making Scrooge seem like a philanthropist, while Alex spends money like it was an Olympic event.

Samantha and Alex dated for over two years before moving in together, and lived together for another couple of years before tying the knot.  Yet, they’ve never been able to see eye to eye about their finances.  It’s funny, Samantha never thinks there is enough money “for a rainy day” so the hoarding continues.  While Alex never seems to spend much time thinking about money at all, it always seems to materialize when it is most needed.   Shouldn’t it be the other way around?  Samantha, the saver, should feel secure in the abundance of funds that is stashed away and Alex, the squanderer, should have the kind of money woes that songs are written about.  But the secret is …that isn’t how the Universe works.

It’s all about energy and balance.  Money is energy.  When money is hoarded and not used, it can block the energy of more coming in.  There needs to be a balance between saving and spending, like breathing in and out, for abundance to effectively flow.  The energy each person holds determines their success.  That’s why in a wealthy family, there are those that seem to leak money like sieves, despite the successes of other family members.  It’s not about possession.  It’s about attitude and action that will determine whether it is either attracted or repelled.

So Samantha, while seemingly going through the motions to guarantee prosperity, in reality is approaching the dilemma with a poverty consciousness, hoarding to make sure the money doesn’t run out – taking an action from the position of lack.  Alex, on the other hand, has fewer money worries because of a strong prosperity consciousness.  Extremes are not conducive to success.  Thoughts focusing on too much or too little will produce blockage.  The goal is to achieve and maintain balance.  Changing the way money, prosperity, success, health or anything else is perceived will change one’s reality.  Strive for balance and watch the level of prosperity and abundance come into balance as well.

Are you soaring or snoring? Handstand or quicksand - you make the call!

Wednesday, May 14th @ 11:53 AMpost viewed 27 times

By Eva Gregory, CPCC

Are you greeting each new day with optimism and energy or are you feeling a bit lackluster? Are you dragging in the morning, slogging through mental, physical, and emotional quicksand throughout your work day, when school lets out, or any of those other times you want – and need - to be bright, cheery, energetic?

Whether one is in transition or not, there are times in our lives when we lack that extra oomph, that shine, that spark that makes all things possible – even doable. Why is that?

The reasons can be one or several: career, relationships, finances, home life, health, school, fitness, schedules and time crunches, commutes, even the people we interact with on a regular basis. Any, some, or all can cause us to feel wiped out, depressed, stressed, discouraged, hopeless, exhausted, daunted, downtrodden. We know we should just simply ‘dig deep,’ rise above, and push onward and upward. Yet, at times in our lives, due to one or a set or circumstances and conditions that have changed or added up over time, it can feel nearly impossible to find that spark to drag ourselves out of the perceived muck. We have succumbed to energy drains – whether person, place, thing, circumstance – and need to get our groove back on! This may seem impossible if one is having a hard time finding the energy to pack a lunch AND water the plants.

It can happen to any of us. Take Helen, a single mother of a young boy, who gets up at the crack of dawn to dress, prepare herself and her son for the day, get him to the sitter, then commute 45 minutes to her job. During her work day, she thinks of her son often, feeling sadness that she can’t spend more time with him and worrying that she’ll miss so many milestones in his young life. Day’s end finds her doing the same in reverse: 45-minute commute, gathering son from sitter, arriving home to make dinner, spend a bit of time with her boy, and tend to household chores. Helen is as tired in the morning as she is a night; aware that she feels like she is not ‘running on all cylinders,’ she is trying to find light at the end of the seeming tunnel and knows something needs to change.

Conversely, we have Naomi, a stay-at-home Mom who left a very lucrative career about a year ago in order to be home full-time for her young daughter. Even though Naomi does not have to leave the house, she is finding it more and more difficult to even find the time to get dressed. Her daughter, Katie, seems to have so many needs and demands that Naomi is hard-pressed to get anything accomplished around the house and for herself during Katie’s waking hours. Naomi is exhausted, misses her career and coworkers, feels like she’s spinning her wheels, and is at her wits end. She’s not sure how, but knows she needs to get off of what she perceives to be a gerbil wheel of emotional hell.

Isn’t it odd how unique we are? It would seem that if Helen and Naomi traded places, all would be rosy and full of life’s passion. Since most of us know that is not realistic, what CAN we do to get our oomph back, banish the ‘quicksand,’ and once again, plant flowers?

Perhaps Helen can freelance or maybe her employer will let her outsource part of the work week, so she could perform her career tasks from home; she might be able to work evenings instead or cut back on her hours as well. Naomi may be able to hire a per diem nanny or place Katie in a play group or day care a few times a week; even an afternoon or two would free her to get groceries, clean house, enjoy some ‘me’ time, and even to find a way to re-enter the work force, either part-time or from home.

Both women are aware of how they are feeling and seem to know what is causing these energy drains, but what is the next step? The most important thing we can do when we all feeling the quicksand is to identify the problem – and then, choose a positive course of action with a positive attitude. We need to be able to identify the sources of our energy drains – and then find ways to say “No!” to them (or change our perspective about them) and say “Yes!” to our chosen solutions. How might we accomplish this?

Here’s an easy method:

Take a sheet of paper and draw two lines vertically from top to bottom, separating the page into three columns. On the left-most side, list those things, tangible or intangible, that you feel are sapping your energy. In the middle column, list any possible solutions for each item on the left. It’s okay to be creative. You are creating your own destiny here! Lastly, in the right-most column, jot down how you will feel when you have resolved the issue in the left-hand column. Spend some time with those positive feelings.

Energy, like water, seeks its own level. The Universe is always ready to help us, open doors, promote us, give us all we need – once we open ourselves to that vibrant flow of giving and receiving. It can not do that if we are looking down at our feet. Instead, identify your drains, choose to alter your course and/or your perception, and reach for the stars. If you have been missing out on that joie de vivre and zest for life, you are now in for a pleasant surprise! Seize the day.

Magic Words

Wednesday, May 14th @ 10:43 AMpost viewed 29 times

By Eva Gregory, CPCC

The use of positive affirmations to help facilitate the Law of Attraction in your life can not be understated. It is absolutely essential. But many people can be confused about positive affirmations, their purpose and how they are constructed.

Positive affirmations are positive statements we use with ourselves. Their purpose is two fold. First it sends out positive intention into the Universe in accordance to the Law of Attraction. Their second function is to contact and persuade our subconscious mind. This is the silent controller in each of us. It is our motivator and also gives us messages through intuition. You definitely want your subconscious mind to be working with you. It is in the subconscious mind the negative ideas and energy in the form of doubt and despair originate.

So how do you construct a working positive affirmation? The subconscious mind does not do well if we command it to do something, "I will be making more money soon." This opens up all kinds of doubt and questions which the subconscious mind will begin to generate: "How are you going to make that money? You can't do it. Look at your life situation now. You have been told in the past that you are not good enough accept it."

In order to avoid this trap and sequence of thoughts you need to gently persuade your subconscious mind. You need to gently nudge it in the direction of manifestation and belief. Without belief in your ability to accomplish your goals at this deep level, you will be at odds with yourself. You will battle doubt.

The subconscious mind is kind of like a cat. Now dogs can easily be trained and tempted by praise. Cats have their own agendas and can be aloof. That does not mean they cannot be persuaded. You just need to know the trick.

In the case of the subconscious mind there are two magic words. With these words you can transform yourself from the inside out. In fact, these two words in the ancient religions were used as the name of God. Now that is some powerful stuff.

Are you ready? The words are "I AM". These two words define, persuade, transform and shift you instantly. Using them as a positive affirmation can transform your life and create huge waves of positive attractive energy into the Universe.

Try this one: "I am fantastically calm and relaxed."

Say it a number of times and note how you feel. Note how you begin to feel relaxed and confident. This is just the beginning!
